It's a sad day in my garage as I'm going to leave with this orange appeal. This bike is as old as me but way more solid than I am. It started off as an orange (extremely similar to it's current color) 1976 Fuji Sport that had some wear and tear. I stripped it down to the bare steel and rebuilt it up into the taken care of equipment marvel you see on your screen.

The essentials:.
About a 54/medium size frame (I'm 5' 8" and it fits completely).
Steel frame.
Dealt with equipment (with Single Speed flip/flop hub).
Orange as sh * t.

The frame is solid with no blemishes. The paint is now a years of age, so a couple of minor blemishes exist. The stickers were bought aftermarket and placed prior to the clear coat.

The handlebars are the original Fuji deal with bars as is the front brake. The brake handle is aftermarket and has actually been repainted to match. I have the original rear brake too and all of the braze-ons for the brakes/deraileurs are still there.

Throughout the reconstruct, I rebuilt the headset (new bearings and grease) and changed the initial stem with a newer Origin 8 stem (the old one was used out beyond use). The seat post and seat are likewise brand-new Origin 8 parts. The crank and front ring were placed on about 2-3 years back along with the chain guard. They're in excellent shape, too.

The wheels are Pure Fix 50mm orange deep-Vs. They were placed on this winter. The brake tracks have actually not been directed. I have the front brake on but just used it once when a driver pulled out in front of me while talking on their phone. I did not kill them ... nor they me. A little rubbing alcohol must get the brake marks off (I will do ... we are in the midst of moving, though, so it could be a couple of days). The wheels might have the brake tracks directed for typical braking, which I 'd suggest if you transform it to a single-speed so you do not die.

Other things are a brand name brand-new SRAM single-speed chain, more recent white tires with brand name new tubes and new(er) brake cable/housing (for front brake only).

There is a chain guard on the front ring (I've never had to strap down my trousers leg) and pedal cages to keep from getting thrown from the equine. I have it set for fixed equipment however the Pure Fix rear wheel is a flip/flop so if you wanted to add the back brake back on and run is SS, it 'd be all set to roll.

Interested? Text, call or e-mail. No shipping, regional pickup just. The original parts that I still have actually had it. The lights (front and rear) do NOT featured it. I do advise the front light, though (it's the NiteRider Lumina 500 and it's the brightest thing on earth ... it's about 80 % the sun's brightness).
